Deacon LaVonn Traylor is the president of South Suburban Action Conference. After becoming involved with SSAC, he was a member for two years and was then elected as President. Growing up, he attended Chicago Public Schools and graduated from Morgan Park High School in 1976. He retired from M&M Mars after 22 years of service and attends South Suburban Missionary Baptist Church where he serves as Deacon. He takes great pride in helping and developing others to be more effective and powerful by pulling the best out of them. Deacon Traylor and his wife Belinda Ann Traylor have four children, three boys and one girl.

Trancita Mickens is the Secretary of SSAC and is a faithful worker in the justice field. She retired as a Human Resource Specialist with the United States Postal Service for 31 years. Trancita is a member of Lord of Mercy Catholic Church in Harvey, IL. She has a Bachelors Degree in Organizational Management. She was installed as Secretary on January 21, 2023.

Dr. Emma L. Dabney is treasurer of SSAC and has shown her eagerness to work and support the organization. She has a true love for GOD's work and is a member of Covenant United Church of Christ in South Holland, IL. Dr. Dabney worked for the U.S. Steel Corporation for 12 years before the sell-out of the corporation in Chicago.

Dr. Emma L. Dabney is treasurer of SSAC and has shown her eagerness to work and support the organization. She has a true love for GOD's work and is a member of Covenant United Church of Christ in South Holland, IL. Dr. Dabney worked for the U.S. Steel Corporation for 12 years before the sell-out of the corporation in Chicago. She later obtained a position at the Southwest Cook County Cooperative for Special Education, and retired in 2012, after 26 years of service. GOD blessed Dr. Dabney with 5 children, (4 daughters, and 1 son); 16 grandchildren and 3 great-grandson.

Pastor Bigsby served as President of the South Suburban Action Conference, ( until 2009) which is actively pursuing and involved in social, civic, and educational parity in the south suburbs, including such issues as the Third Airport in Peotone. More recently, he was elected Vice President of African American Leadership Commission, (AALC) a national organization dedicated to development of clergy in social justice advocacy. In July 2009, Pastor Bigsby was elected President of Gamaliel National Clergy Caucus (GNCC), and was installed in December at ILA in St. Louis, MO.L
